Health Advocacy Campaign-02 at Malnichara Tea Garden
The Sylhet Center of Unlocking Youth Potential (UYP) recently organized a successful full-day Health Advocacy Campaign-02 at Malnichara Tea Garden. The event focused on raising awareness among adolescents about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), nutrition, and primary health care. Services provided included SRHR awareness sessions, counseling on food and nutrition, blood grouping, diabetes and blood pressure checks, and weight checks. Participants received essential items like SRHR brochures, leaflets, sanitary napkins, and soap. Youth Officer Mehedi Hasan oversaw the program, with notable attendees including Assistant Director of Family Planning Abul Mansur Asjad and Nutritionist Dr. Sheikh Towhida Rahman. The campaign effectively promoted health awareness and a positive outlook on reproductive health among the area’s youth.
