October 26, 2025, the Unlocking Youth Potential (UYP) Mymensingh Center organized a discussion meeting titled ‘Program on Ensuring Active Participation of Marginalized Groups in Health & SRHR Dialogues-2.’ Distinguished guests included Subrata Barman, General Secretary of Prottigya Youth Organization, and Mr. Md. Rafiul Karim, Central Manager of the Divisional Social Services Office at CRP Mymensingh Center. The meeting was presided over by Resmina Haque, Project Officer of Unstoppable Youth (UYP), Mymensingh center, and was conducted by Sanjay Chandra Roy, Youth Officer at the same center.
At the beginning of the event, Sanjay Chandra Roy delivered a welcome speech and provided a brief introduction about UYP, RHSTEP, and the importance of SRHR. Following the introduction, Subrata Barman addressed the underprivileged participants from various schools and areas, offering guidance on becoming small entrepreneurs through training. He also highlighted the significance of reproductive health and awareness. Next, under the direction of mentors and youth advocates, the participants were divided into three groups to play a Ludo game facilitated by RHSTEP. This interactive session was designed to enhance engagement and understanding. Subsequently, Mr. Md. Rafiul Karim spoke on the critical issues and necessary actions concerning sexual and reproductive health and rights. The program concluded with closing remarks by Resmina Haque, Project Officer and chairperson of the meeting, who expressed gratitude to all participants and reaffirmed the commitment to empowering marginalized groups in health and SRHR dialogues.
