Workshop on “Impact of Climate Change on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights” Organized by UYP Dhaka Center
On 19 October 2025, a workshop titled “Impact of Climate Change on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights” was organized by UYP Dhaka Center. The event was presided over by Md. Abu Raihan, Project Manager of UYP. Dr. Elvina Mustari, Deputy Director (Program) of RHSTEP, and Taufiq Ul Karim Chowdhury, Manager (M&E and Advocacy) of RHSTEP, were present as special guests and facilitators.
The event was hosted by Zubaida Anjum Saba, Youth Officer at UYP Dhaka Center, who also delivered the opening remarks. Following this, a welcome speech was given by the Chairperson, Md. Abu Raihan.
Participant Sumaiya Akter Drohi enlivened the event by performing a song on environmental awareness.
The main sessions were conducted by Dr. Elvina Mustari, who discussed climate change and its impacts, and Taufiq Ul Karim Chowdhury, who facilitated a session on sexual and reproductive health.
An interactive session was later conducted on the potential impact of climate change on adolescent sexual and reproductive health, made engaging through various group activities and games.
The workshop concluded with a gift distribution and closing remarks by Md. Abu Raihan, Project Manager of UYP.
