The Unlocking Youth Potential (UYP) Project, Rangpur, organized a “Health Advocacy Campaign” in the Ershadnagar (Chiniapara) community, emphasizing the active participation of local residents. The campaign, as highlighted by Dr. Anisur Rahman, aimed to raise awareness about health, nutrition, and mental health among marginalized groups, and to cultivate a positive attitude towards Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR). Speakers stressed the need to overcome the societal taboo surrounding SRHR discussions, noting that ignorance leads to preventable diseases, socio-economic loss, and hindered domestic prosperity. They urged everyone to become personally and collectively aware of their health rights, particularly SRHR, to contribute to a healthy, happy, and prosperous Bangladesh.
