Ensure Active Participation of Marginalized Groups in Health and SRHR Dialogues and Actions-2, Dhaka

Today, on 08 October 2025, a discussion session titled “Ensure Active Participation of Marginalized Groups in Health and SRHR Dialogues and Actions” was organized in Dhaka under the initiative of Aparajeyo Tarunno (UYP Project), focusing on Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).

The event’s chief guest was Marzia Prova, Gender and Advocacy Coordinator of Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB). Participants included members from indigenous communities, labor groups, intersex individuals, and the Harijan community. The session was chaired by Project Manager Md. Abu Raihan, and a PowerPoint presentation was delivered by Project Officer Shaheenur Akhter Shaheen.

The facilitator began the program with an ice-breaking session, followed by awareness activities on SRHR, where Marzia Prova shared informative insights aimed at adolescents.

Through group activities, participants shared their opinions and key learnings. During the discussion, participants also shared their personal experiences related to SRHR. The event concluded with a session on identifying challenges and solutions regarding SRHR issues among different communities, followed by a gift distribution among the participants.
