On December 10, 2025, an awareness program was organized by UYP at the Gaibandha Center to mark International Human Rights Day. A total of 19 teenagers and young adults participated in the event.
The program was chaired by Md. Enamul Haque, the Accounts and Admin Officer (Unit Head) of RHSTEP Clinic and Alor Dhara Pathshala. He started the event with a welcoming speech.
Youth Officer Md. Tazbiul Islam gave a detailed presentation on human rights and fundamental rights. He also highlighted the specific rights applicable to teenagers in the context of Bangladesh. Following this, Youth Officer Ms. Asfia Khatun presented a PowerPoint presentation on human rights.
The event then featured a quiz competition and group work on the topic of human rights.
Finally, the program concluded after collecting feedback and opinions from the participants.
