Theater for SRHR “Amra Bodle Jachchhi” – Chittagong

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, the Aprajeo Tarunno (UYP Project) Chittagong Center organized a street play called “Amra Bodle Jachchhi” (We Are Changing). The event was part of “Theater for SRHR – 2” and took place in the Tigerpass Railway Colony Community.

The play’s main topics were adolescent changes, child marriage, the harmful effects of drugs, and health awareness. Hundreds of men, women, children, and teenagers from the community attended with great enthusiasm.

Opu Dasgupta, the Project Officer, explained that the play’s main goal was to increase awareness among adolescents about sexual and reproductive health (SRHR), nutrition, and mental health. He stressed the need to remove barriers and ensure health services for the country’s youth, warning that a lack of support could lead them astray.

Niladri Sen Gupta, said that “Guardians, children, and adolescents will all benefit from this play.” Youth Officer Annie Chowdhury directed the street play, and Mentor Toifatul Jannat Putul hosted the program. The performance had a deep impact and spread a message of positive awareness in the community.
