On December 10, 2025, International Human Rights Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Oparajeyo Tarunno Barishal Center.
The main theme for the event was: “Reduce Inequality, Protect Human Rights.”
Teenagers from various institutions participated, including Sabera Khatun Balka Secondary School, Oxford Mission High School, Barishal Government College, Palashpur Colony, and Stadium Colony.

The program began with a welcoming speech by Youth Officer Joy Hari Biswas.

Next, Mentor Abir Mahmud gave a detailed PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) to the participants. He provided a clear idea about human rights, discussing their foundation and history, the main types of rights, and current challenges and relevance.

After the presentation, the participants actively engaged in the discussion through group work on specific topics.
Finally, the successful event concluded with a closing speech by the President of the program and Project Officer of Oparajeyo Tarunno, Salma Khanam.
