Youth Health Council Meeting and Competition in Chattogram
On October 28, 2025, a Youth Health Council (YHC) meeting and speech competition took place at the RHSTEP – UYP Centre in Chattogram. Chaired by Project Officer Apu Dasgupta and conducted by Youth Officer Anny Chowdhury, the meeting saw YHC members finalize plans to conduct community and school-based awareness activities on adolescent health services, maternal/child care, women’s rights, and gender equity, utilizing various communication materials. During the session, a 10-member Health Council body was formed, with Saidur Rahman appointed as the Convener. The event concluded with participants delivering speeches focused on adolescent mental health and the future role of youth leadership in sexual and reproductive health services.
