Workshop on Poster Writing (UYP), Mymensingh
On October 21, 2025 UYP Mymensingh Centre organized a workshop titled ‘Workshop on Poster Writing; Your Poster Your Voice’.
The event was graced by Mr. Md. Mahidul Islam, Sub-Inspector of the District Education Office, Mymensingh, as a special guest, and Ms. Mirza Arafat Jahan, a teacher from Royal Media College, was also present. The program was presided over by Reshmina Haque, Project Officer of the UYP Mymensingh Centre, and moderated by Sanjay Chandra Roy, Youth Officer of the centre.
The event commenced with a welcome and brief introductory speech by Youth Officer Sanjay Chandra Roy about UYP, RHSTEP, and SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights). Following the introduction session, the special guest, Mr. Md. Mahidul Islam, delivered a directional speech, emphasizing the importance of education and awareness in everyone’s life.
Subsequently, the main workshop was conducted under the leadership of Youth Officer Sanjay Chandra Roy. He first highlighted the opportunities and responsibilities for adolescents to increase social awareness as youth leaders through poster writing. This was followed by a hands-on demonstration of the basic guidelines for poster writing.
After the poster writing was completed, the other special guest, Ms. Mirza Arafat Jahan, gave an instructional address.
The event concluded with the closing remarks from the president of the meeting, Reshmina Haque, Project Officer of the (UYP) Mymensingh Centre.
