On November 13, 2025, at 4:30 PM, the Unlocking Youth Potential (UYP) Rangpur branch organized a vibrant event called “Theater for SRHR” at Uttar Sheikh Para Santal Palli.
The program started with an important discussion session.

The speakers highlighted the importance of raising awareness on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), especially on:

Preventing child marriage

Promoting safe motherhood

Helping adolescents make informed decisions
After the discussion, the audience enjoyed the main attraction—a powerful play titled “Aloi Aloi Notun Jibon.”
Young people from local schools and the community performed in the play, sharing meaningful messages about:

The harmful effects of child marriage

How to prevent cervical cancer

Puberty and responsible choices
-
The importance of safe motherhood
The drama was directed by Mr. Md. Ruman Sheikh, with Mr. Md. Sajim Islam as Associate Director.
To end the event on a lively note, a quiz competition was held. Participants eagerly answered questions based on SRHR topics, and those who answered correctly received recognition and small rewards.
In his closing speech, the President thanked all participants and organizers for their effort and enthusiasm. The event successfully concluded with positive energy and appreciation from the community.
“Aloi Aloi Notun Jibon” proved how powerful theater can be in spreading essential health messages and inspiring youth involvement in the community.
