Health Advocacy Campaign – Rangpur
A “Health Advocacy Campaign” was successfully held today at 2:30 PM in Kachari Bazar Harijan Colony, organized by RHSTEP’s Unlocking Youth Potential (UYP) Project in Rangpur. The campaign aimed to increase health and nutrition awareness among the marginalized community, promote a positive attitude toward Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), and highlight the importance of mental health. Following a discussion urging personal health initiative, participants received free health consultations, including advice from Dr. Sadia Islam (Internal Medical Officer), along with blood group tests, blood pressure measurements, and counseling on mental health and SRHR by Ms. Rafia Khandakar. The event concluded with the distribution of sanitary napkins to participants, emphasizing practical health support.
