Public Health Awareness Initiative in Rajshahi
A Public Health Awareness Program was successfully held today at the Alor Pathshala field near Talaimari Shaheed Minar, organized by the RHSTEP Unlocking Youth Potential (UYP) Project. Chaired by Md. Mamunur Rahman (Manager, RHSTEP Rajshahi Medical College), and featuring Md. Shamim Ahmed (Secretary of Ward No. 24) as the Chief Guest, the event offered free health services including weight/height measurement, blood and diabetes testing, blood pressure checks, and blood group determination (with support from Bandhan). Participants also benefited from health and nutrition counseling provided by a specialized nutritionist team. The Chief Guest praised this initiative by UYP, which aims to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention in the community.
