Workshop on Computer Basics held by (UYP), Mymensingh

On October 22, 2025 UYP Mymensingh Centre organized a workshop titled ‘Workshop on Computer Basics’.

The event was graced by Ms. Afsana Ferdous Misty, Assistant Director of the District Information Office, Mymensingh, as a special guest, and Ms. Maksuda Begum, Senior Instructor (Computer) from the Technical Training Centre, Mymensingh, was also present. The program was presided over by Reshmina Haque, Project Officer of the UYP Mymensingh Centre, and moderated by Sanjay Chandra Roy, Youth Officer of the centre.

The event began with a welcome and brief introductory speech by Youth Officer Sanjay Chandra Roy about UYP, RHstep, and SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights). Following the introduction session, the special guest, Ms. Afsana Ferdous Misty, delivered a directional speech to the attending adolescents, emphasizing the importance of disseminating information on reproductive health and awareness.

Subsequently, the other guest, Ms. Maksuda Begum, began the core computer training workshop with her introductory remarks. In the workshop, she presented concepts related to computer hardware and software, as well as the methods and rules for using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

The event concluded with the closing remarks from the president of the meeting, Reshmina Haque, Project Officer of the UYP Mymensingh Centre.
