October 25, 2025, a full-day YHC meeting and debate competition took place at the UYP Centre in Khulna. The meeting began with YHC members defining their key objectives, agreeing to lead awareness campaigns within their communities and schools on topics such as adolescent health services, maternity and child care, women’s rights, and gender justice. They planned to utilize posters, banners, leaflets, and Facebook for outreach and communication. A new YHC team was established, comprising 6 community members, 9 school representatives, 3 members from the Dalit community, and 3 individuals with disabilities. Additionally, Associate Professor M. M. Ismail Hossain of BL College was honored as an honorary member of the YHC. Following the meeting, members sought to further sharpen their promotional and leadership skills through a debate competition. Seven teams competed in a round-robin league, culminating in a final debate. Shashibhushan Secondary School emerged as the champion, and Prabha from the same school was selected as the best speaker. The event concluded with a collective pledge to improve healthcare in Bangladesh, followed by a group photo session.
